  4. hey now, not all girls have a regular cycle, and you can't exactly put a tampon in beforehand just in case. Period leaks happen. Deal with it, or be forever alone.

  5. I've never had that happen any time in the last 11 years I've been getting my period. Not even when it was highly irregular.

  6. I've never had it happen- invest in better products and learn about your cycles... and you call yourself females.

  7. Listen up bitches, official poster here: I myself am a female and I too have a period stain on my bed (and proud of it). All i have to say is real women have heavy flows which result in PERIOD STAINS

A lot of girls flows are so spiratic that it's impossible to know what night/ how 'thick' it will be.

    Love, OP

  8. Doesn't OP mean original poster?
Also guys, if you have sex with a girl who is on her period you are likely to get stains on your bed... just in case that wasn't obvious to you.

  9. Listen up OP: sorry you're a sloppy female. Some of us know how to be clean and like #7 said the product you use makes a difference. And in case you missed the memo on hygiene 101: invest in an antibacterial, waterproof mattress protector. That way you can remove it and wash it. Your boyfriend/ future husband will thank me for teaching you that- until you learn he can come stay in my clean bed.

  11. #10 here: sounds like you're the dried up one. I happen to have a lovely mom that taught me about the cover. I honestly feel sorry for girls that aren't taught proper hygiene- leads to bacterial infections which you come to me and bitch about later.

  12. @10/12, a period stain isn't going to give you an infection - it's just unfortunate because it looks kind of gross. Bad hygiene can lead to infections, sure, but menstrual blood isn't going to do that to you, and especially not when it's just a stain on your mattress.
For the record, I've never had one either, but I understand how it can happen. If your period comes on heavily during the middle of the night there's not much you can do about it, especially if you're at all irregular.

  13. What's with the intra-girl hate here? I appreciate that you guys know your cycles well, but my cycles are anywhere from 30 days to 70 days (including period). Seriously. (p.s. yes I have asked the doctor about this and no I'm not broken.) How am I supposed to predict that? I'm not wearing a tampon/pad every single day for weeks and weeks at a time just to avoid a leak. I stay alert to how my body sometimes gives clues a week or so before my period, but that doesn't always happen at all. Doesn't make me a "sloppy female." You might be a bitch, though.

  15. 7/10 I would avoid public forums when you're on the rag

  16. To 10/12: From your pompous attitude, I can't imagine that you have very many girlfriends with whom to discuss these kinds of things with, so allow me to enlighten you. I buy "leak-proof", "super heavy flow"-type tampons, which I will insert right before bed, and I will sometimes *still* leak. It's not about brand; some girls just bleed way more than others. Also, what makes you think guys are as disgusted by a woman's blood as much as you are? My boyfriend will gladly have sex with me while I am on my period... let alone sleep on a bed with a few measly stains. Sheesh.
