Overheard:
Two engineering students complaining about their workload at Second Cup.
Girl: The only good thing about surviving this is getting the Iron Ring
Guy: Yeah, but then you realize that the Management Engineering kids also get an Iron Ring.
Girl: That's so unfair. They're not even considered engineers.
damnnnn accountants don't get any ring
ReplyDeleteRespect.
ReplyDeletelol iron ring... i could buy an "iron ring" for 20 dollars. they are practically useless
ReplyDeleteEveryone always shitz on the Industrial Engineers. Little do these realize we're the most recession-proof.
ReplyDeleteglad to see that even within their community, there is another form of segregation and belittling. You guys just love feeling superior.
ReplyDeleteOh engineers, why do you hate on everybody?
ReplyDeleteWell, at least they didn't mention environmental engineering. +1 respect.
ReplyDeleteI am a management engineering student and unlike the previous posts, I'm not hiding behind anonymity because I am confident in what I say and ready to defend it.
ReplyDeleteI am frustrated by the ignorance regarding "what a real engineer" is as I have yet to hear a defensible definition of engineering that excludes management or industrial engineering. If you have an issue with MGTE or have questions, I'd be happy to address them and start to dispel the myths about what it is we do. Questions?
^ Wanna fuck?
ReplyDelete^ hahaha hilarious. Threesome?
ReplyDelete@8: The role of an engineer can loosely be defined as someone who designs something. What do management engineers design exactly?
ReplyDeleteMan eng started at a cash grab by the university for people who weren't smart enough to get into real eng. The first year, 40% of them failed, so they reduced the workload. These are facts.
ReplyDeleteActually, that first one is a statement of opinion.
ReplyDelete@12, statements need to be backed up by proof in order for them to be facts lol
