  2. She could have gotten these as gifts or on some big end-of-year discount or they're fake... how do you know how much money she has and has spent on those?

  4. Coach isn't even that expensive compared to other brand names that girls on campus carry around.

  5. @#1: She was carrying a couch bag. Clearly, if she can afford furniture she should be able to afford textbooks!

Seriously though, there are plenty or people who complain about being broke and go out 3 days a weeks wearing designer brands. Pro tip: Looking well put-together is what gets the attention of the opposite sex, not designer labels. Knowing the difference could save you a lot of money.

  6. There is a chance that the coach bag was fake, but there definitely ARE a lot of girls who spend way too much money on less important stuff and then don't have enough money for school. (side note: Did you guys know lululemon pants are about $100?)

  7. Lulu hoodies are 100$ too! Even though they're 100$, they're so comfy!

  8. I personally have a Coach and Lulu bag, both were gifts. Still broke for textbooks. And truthfully, if you get those on sale/at outlet stores, each bag is about the price of 1 textbook. It's less than the average of $300-400 you spend on textbooks.
